How are dosage changes managed?
Your treatment plan follows established clinical guidelines for your specific medication. To give you control over this process, we use a simple check-in system.
One week before your next order is scheduled, you will receive a check-in notification. This is your opportunity to decide on the dosage for your upcoming month of treatment.
How do I select my next dose?
In the check-in form you receive, you will be ask if you would like to increase your dose and you will be presented with three options. It's important to listen to your body and choose the option that feels most comfortable for you.
You can choose one of the following:
- No – prefer to stay on current dose: If you are happy with your current progress and want to continue with the same dosage for another month.
- Yes – I’m ready: If you are feeling comfortable on your current dose and are ready to follow the recommended titration path.
- Maybe – would like to discuss: If you are experiencing side effects, are unsure about what to do next, or wish to lower your dose. Selecting this option will prompt our team to send you a Calendly link to book a video consultation with one of our clinical providers.
Once you submit your choice, our Clinical Team will review and approve your request for your next order.
What happens if I don't complete the check-in?
To ensure you don't have any interruption to your treatment, if you do not complete the check-in, your prescription will default to the next dose in your titration schedule for the next order. If you missed the check-in and wished to change your dose, please contact our support team as soon as possible.
What if I made a mistake in the check-in?
If you think you’ve selected the wrong option or have changed your mind, don’t worry! Please contact our Patient Support Team immediately by emailing support@heyslim.co.uk and our team will be there to support you.
Will my dosage change over time?
Yes. To ensure the best results while helping your body adjust to the medication, your treatment plan is designed to gradually increase your dose over time until you reach a stable maintenance dose. This process, known as titration, is a standard clinical practice that helps to minimise potential side effects.
