Whether you're looking to continue your GLP-1 treatment with us from another provider or wish to switch between the medications we offer, we've made the process straightforward. Here’s how to manage your transition smoothly and safely.
Transferring Your Treatment to heySlim
If you are already taking a GLP-1 medication like Wegovy or Mounjaro with another provider, you don't need to start over at the lowest dose with us.
During your online consultation, simply specify the dose you are currently taking and the next one you are due to titrate to. To ensure we can safely prescribe this for you, you will need to provide proof of your recent medication use.
Acceptable Proof of Prior Medication Use
After you check out, please go to the Uploads page in your account and upload a file under the "Medication Proof" category. Acceptable forms of proof include:
- A clear photo of your current medication pen or box showing the prescription label with your name, the medication, and the dose.
- A copy of a recent prescription or a formal letter from your GP.
- A recent pharmacy receipt that clearly shows your name, the medication, and the dispensed dose.
Once our clinical team reviews and verifies your proof, your order will be approved.
Switching Between Medications with heySlim
If you are a current heySlim patient and would like to switch from one medication to another (e.g., from Wegovy to Mounjaro), you have two easy options.
Option 1: Switching at Your Next Refill (Recommended)
This is the simplest method. One week before your next order is due, you will receive a routine check-in.
In the check-in form, use the field for "Any additional information you'd like to share with your provider?" to state your request. For example: "I would like to switch from Wegovy to Mounjaro for my next refill."
Our clinical team will review your request and, if appropriate, will update your prescription for your upcoming order.
Option 2: Switching Immediately
If you wish to switch before your next scheduled refill, you will need to start a new treatment plan.
- First, cancel your current active treatment plan from your heySlim dashboard.
- Navigate to the 'Treatments' page in your account.
- Find the 'GLP-1 Weight Management Treatment Plan' and click 'Get started'.
- Complete the new online consultation, selecting your desired new medication and the appropriate dose based on your treatment history.
